AUSA Service Gala

The AUSA Service Gala is premiering student-led service opportunities with the intention of inspiring and connecting students with opportunities to serve. The AUSA Service Gala will be a two part event, the first part will feature a series of speakers in the Howard Performing Arts Center (HPAC) Concert Hall representing different avenues of service. The second part will be a black-tie/red carpet style reception during which the AU UNICEF will be facilitating a silent auction fundraiser to raise funds for UNICEF emergency disaster relief.

Organic CSA Shares Available

CSA is short for Community Supported Agriculture. Sower's Purse Microfarm LLC is offering full and half share memberships for the 2018 growing season. With a focus on seasonal culinary diversity and growing methods which honor the Creator and His creation, your membership helps to ensure fresh, healthy produce remains available in the area for the forseeable future. It's the best way to connect with where your food comes from without growing it yourself. Weekly deliveries will be available at Neighbor to Neighbor every Friday from early-June to late-October. Academy Day

All eighth grade students are invited to attend Academy Day March 6.  Come see the exciting programs Andrews Academy offers and experience one day with us. While there you will worship together, go to a number of classes with academy students, and participate in a number of games and activities.  Lunch will be served, T -shirts and prizes will be given.  Registration begins at 7:30 am, the full day of activities will begin at 8:00 am and will conclude by 3:15 pm. Wind Symphony Vespers Concert

For our annual Vespers Concert as part of the Andrews University Music Festival, the Wind Symphony presents a wide of variety of inspirational sacred music for wind band. Headlining the program is David Gillingham’s No Shadow of Turning, a distinctive arrangement of Great is Thy Faithfulness and other moving repertoire pieces. Used Adventist Book Sale

There will be a used Adventist book sale on Sunday, April 8, 10am-4pm at the Village Adventist Elementary School. There will be about 7,000 used books for sale. If you are looking for something specific, John Segar is encouraging you to call him in advance at (269)781-6379. Part of the proceeds will go to the Village Adventist Elementary School.

Reggie and Ladye Love Smith have been a part of the Gaither Homecoming family for over a decade, first as back-up singers in Nashville and later as a vocal duet featured on countless Homecoming concerts, tapings and recordings. Madagascar Project

Andrews University's Community and International Development department provide an opportunity for students to attend the Madagascar Study tour each year. The goal every year is to implement a humanitarian & development project. Dr. Joel Raveloharimisy, director of the CID program, has coordinated and sponsored many projects such as Mantasoa Youth Center, Orphanage Hanitry ny Ala, and Orphanage Mampitasoa, and this years project funds a Seventh-day Adventist school, "La Chretienne" College. Students that attend this school are in need of books, computers, and resources to make their education more successful.

Citrus Fundraiser Update

We recently received word from our fruit supplier that due to a general lack of interest and rising costs, they have cancelled the fruit fundraiser until the fall. The next order will now be in November. We are sorry that we cannot meet any orders for February and hope to see you again in the fall!
