The Babel of Brexit

Has anybody on this side of the Pond (Atlantic) been able to figure out this United Kingdom brouhaha called Brexit? Prayers of the Bible

This quarter the Bible Journey Sabbath School class will be studying 13 great prayers of the Bible. Our daily study will be guided by a template prepared by Seminary professor Teresa Reeve, one of our class’s teachers. As we learn how people in the Bible prayed and how God responded, we will also be learning better ourselves how to pray and how to use sound principles of exegesis for Bible study. If you are new to PMC or if you do not have a regular Sabbath School class, we invite you to join us each Sabbath from 10:30 to 11:30.

International Sabbath

All are invited to attend a special worship service prepared by the International Students. Come dressed in your Traditional/Culture attire. As you remember, last year we made an appeal on behalf of our international students for a special offering for "international students emergency fund"; and we are extremely thankful for last year's gift. We have been blessed to assist many of our students who had urgent needs (with groceries, eyeglasses, doctor’s visits and so on).

As Goes the 737 MAX 8 . . .

Would you fly on a Boeing 737 Max 8 today? Given the two recent deadly 737 Max 8 crashes in a span of five months (Lion Air last fall and Ethiopian Airlines this month) and the subsequent global grounding of all of Boeing's 737 Max fleet, you can understand why passengers are rethinking their travel plans. To the place, Southwest Airline (which only flies Boeing 737s) reported declining ticket sales this week.
