Pathfinder Garage Sale - The Eau Claire Critters Pathfinder Club will be holding a Church and Pathfinder Garage Sale to raise money for camping, backpacking equipment and more. The garage sale will be held at the Eau Claire SDA Church underneath the large white tent (come rain or shine) located at 6562 Naomi Road, Eau Claire, MI. It will be held on May 25-26 on Monday, Memorial Day from 8-6 and Tuesday, 8-4 with the final hours on Tuesday being name your own price. Come out and support the Eau Claire Critters Pathfinder Club and get a bargain as well.

Lindsey PrattLindsey Pratt was called to youth ministry at an early age and God has opened doors for her to minster with teens and youth ever since. She worked in Central California as a Youth Pastor and Youth Evangelism Director before finishing her Masters of Divinity at Andrews University. Some of her favorite things to do are mission trips, backpacking and outdoor activities. She is passionate about giving opportunity for youth to use their talents and gifts in leadership for God. She loves racing in triathlons, camping and spending time with her daughter Ellie.

When the author of our reading became a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church decades ago, a song, “Love is Something,” written by Malvina Reynolds, was sung during their Adventist Youth (AY) programs. This song was sung during the evening offering collection. The first verse went something like this: “Love is something if you give it away, give it away, give it away. Love is something if you give it away, you end up having more.”
The idea that love begets more love could not be truer. When we love like Jesus loves, the benefits are abundant. When we give like Jesus gives—without limitation—the blessings return in abundance, running over.
And we “won’t have enough room to take it in!” (Malachi 3:10, NLT). The Bible says in Acts 20:35, “Remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
May the copious blessings of heaven be ours, as we give in love, gratitude, and without reservation to the cause of Christ in our local church today.
